“I met Johnbosco in October of 2014. My father had been caring for Tommy, my autistic brother, since birth. In August of 2013, he had a stroke, and his health continued to deteriorate in January of 2014; he was diagnosed with cancer. During this time, Tommy's behavior began to deteriorate as well, because Dad had started giving in. Tommy began to turn into a spoiled, full-grown child which made things harder not only for Dad but for Tommy as well. Finally, Dad agreed to get some help, and we got involved with the programs that are available.

When Dad went into hospice in October of 2014, Johnbosco went to work for Granite Bay Care and he started working with Tommy. His very first day, he was on his own with Tommy. My husband and I went home and a few hours later, we get a call from Johnbosco. They lost the power and Tommy broke his laptop, so we went to Dad’s. When we got there 15 minutes later, Johnbosco had Tommy outside sitting in a chair looking at the stars. He had deescalated Tommy all on his own. Even Dad wasn't that good, even when he was healthy. Ever since then, Johnbosco is the best in my book. At this time, Tommy was being banned from certain retail stores he was out of control in a lot of ways. Now, Tommy is so much calmer. I can hang out with my little brother and watch movies with him. Tommy no longer looks at me and says out. Tommy is calmer, happier, and more at peace with his life. That is my own observation. Tommy uses words more often instead of sounds. Tommy's appearance has improved, everything about Tommy has improved, and we owe all of that to Johnbosco. He has worked with Tommy, and he has been there for Tommy. Tommy's behavior has improved dramatically since October of 2014. No one cares as much about their clients as Johnbosco does, and that alone speaks volumes about who Johnbosco is. I really don't know what we would have done without him.

To further his education and to have more knowledge in the field of studies he is doing now will definitely be a win-win not only for himself but to the people with developmental disabilities and the community he will be working with in the future.

I will recommend him highly, and if you have additional questions or just want more information on what he has done for my brother in his work, please don’t hesitate to contact me.”

“I am writing on behalf of Johnbosco Oboma. We have known him since the fall of 2015. We met Johnbosco just prior to the transition of our son, Landon, from a children’s program he’d been in for nine years into adult care services. It was a very difficult time for Landon and our family. Upon meeting Johnbosco, our mind was immediately at ease. It was obvious the level of care and compassion he brought to his job. I left our first meeting very hopeful and encouraged. As Landon’s main staff responsible for maintaining safety and support, we’ve seen him follow his individual treatment plan consistently. He has provided the appropriate supports tailored to Landon's needs and wants, therefore, enabling him to live as independently as possible. Johnbosco recognizes when Landon is in distress and is able to use the appropriate strategies or techniques in order to calm him and keep Landon safe as well as those around him.

Johnbosco has listened to us and sought feedback in regards to the activities Landon might enjoy. He has encouraged good personal hygiene, worked on appropriate behavior, and had Landon engaging in daily chores. We’ve seen Landon enjoying more social interactions in this home, hanging out in the common space versus staying in his bedroom. Johnbosco also takes Landon out into the community. He seems to have increased his self-esteem. Johnbosco was very willing to discuss concerns we had prior to Landon’s move, regarding diet, nutrition, and physical activity. He worked with us, and Landon is now eating healthier and is more active. He looks better than he has in years.

Johnbosco is caring, conscientious, consistent, and very willing to communicate and keep us updated on Landon's progress as well as any concerns. We could not recommend him any more highly.

If we can be of any more help, please feel free to contact us.”

“I would like to personally recognize Johnbosco. Johnbosco is an individual whom I have had the pleasure of knowing and working closely with. He is someone who I think very highly, professionally and personally. I feel that he is an excellent candidate for the opportunity of starting a company to help people with developmental disabilities.

Since I have known Johnbosco, I have seen in practice his work ethics, professionalism, and dedication. Johnbosco excels in this field with the clients and staff who have worked with him. He is very dedicated to serving his clients. His strong set of skills and ability to gain trust with the most difficult clients is beyond exceptional. The clients he has worked with have been able to accomplish more than expected. They have learned coping skills, life skills, and new hobbies that many people would not have thought possible. Johnbosco has been a Program Manager and has been able to successfully manage and maintain the homes in which he runs.

Johnbosco is encouraging and supportive with the staff he works with. He is able to lead by example, step up when needed, and is able to promote the strengths of each person he works with. He is honest and able to communicate professionally. Johnbosco has been able to build successful positive relationships with the families and providers to best serve his clientele. Johnbosco has the leadership qualities to run difficult meetings.

As someone looking to start a new company, I cannot think of a better person. He is calm in the face of challenge and is confident in his skills to make positive decisions that always have the client’s best interest at heart. Johnbosco has a positive reputation within the developmentally disabled community. His hard work and dedication is something we all should strive for. I could not recommend a more qualified professional.”
